Universal Health Radio is a public-health nonprofit with one mission: put verified
health literacy resources in the hands of communities that need them most —
communities with limited bandwidth, mixed-language households, and limited access to
professional healthcare. We are a free health charity and
public health nonprofit serving listeners across four continents.
Our community health education broadcasts reach listeners in 14 languages,
drawing only from WHO, CDC, and national health program guidance — all signed off by a clinician
before any content airs.
Fighting Health Misinformation
Health misinformation costs lives. Every claim we broadcast is anchored to a
primary WHO, CDC, or national health program source — never to unverified social media reports or
commercial interests. Our six-step content gate (including mandatory clinician sign-off) is a
direct, practical answer to the global health misinformation crisis. We also operate as a
global health podcast format via our Talk tab: a two-host Deep Dive Hour
covering one disease per week in multiple languages, with cited sources for every claim.
Every piece of health content on Universal Health Radio passes a six-step
verification process before broadcast:
